Look over your notes or the chapters you've read so far, and locate a passage in The Mezzanine that particularly resonated with you when you first read it--a passing observation or extended riff that was easy to relate to, familiar in some way, or inspired a sense of recognition or laughter. Identify the passage in your Notebook (page number[s] and opening and closing phrases) and reflect briefly on why it struck you so strongly.
